In addition to visiting the most famous attractions such as the Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven, travelers will also experience the charm of old Beijing through hutong rickshaw rides and lively cultural districts like Shichahai and Yandai Xiejie. A highlight of the journey is the overnight stay in Gubei Water Town, a beautifully restored ancient-style village located beneath the Simatai section of the Great Wall. With lantern-lit canals, traditional workshops, and evening performances, it offers a magical Great Wall night experience rarely included in standard Beijing tours. Detailed Itinerary Day 1 | Arrival in Beijing Arrival in Beijing. Meet and greet at airport and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Day 2 | Tiananmen Square – Forbidden City – Hutong Experience Visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City (including headset explanation and shuttle service). Continue to Shichahai area, take a traditional rickshaw ride through Beijing hutongs and explore Yandai Xiejie. Lunch: Chinese set menu. Dinner: Peking Duck banquet. Day 3 | Summer Palace – Temple of Heaven – Qianmen Street Visit the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven. Walk along Qianmen Street and explore Xianyukou Food Street. Lunch: Chinese set menu. Dinner: Traditional Beijing hotpot. Day 4 | Mutianyu Great Wall – Gubei Water Town Excursion to Mutianyu Great Wall including round-trip cable car. Transfer to Gubei Water Town and explore the scenic village including cultural workshops and courtyards. Enjoy evening water dance show and drone lantern performance. Day 5 | Gubei Water Town – Olympic Park Night View Continue exploring Gubei Water Town including Eight Banner Hall, Zhenyuan Escort Bureau, Sun & Moon Square and Yue Lao Temple. Day 6 | Departure Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for departure. End of journey.
